Data transfer is realized with a radio transmitter. For that reason a transmitter / receiver is placed at the end of the pipe and a radio modem connected to the notebook. The radio transmitter on the PE pipe is wired with a cable through the pipe.
The pipe transmitter / receiver gets its power from accus and the modem / notebook are connected to the vehicle 12 Volt power supply. The pipe transmitter's accumulators can be charged the same way. This allows for absolute mobility of this measurement system. | 
is utilized to monitor the tensile strength of PE pipes as they are pulled through old shafts. The measurement probe (see below) is hung in front of the pipe and via a strain gauge and an AD modifier values are acquired.
